In Year 3, we had more fundraising events, including a sports day, which increased awareness of our charity across the local community. We also had a few sponsors from local businesses. The result of this increased money was an ability to provide everyone with a sleeping bag for the first time. We increased the amount of thermal clothing we had in each bag, and provided more food and hygiene items than ever before. Through our increased exposure to the community, Angelina was nominated for the BBC Make a Difference awards, which resulted in a BBC Radio 1 interview and a feature on BBC News where they followed us distributing the packages. Due to a greater number of volunteers, we were able to walk along the streets of London for over 30 hours across five trips, distributing packages to rough sleepers.
